IELTS Speaking Practice Generator

An examiner sits across the table, asks about your hometown, hands you a card with one minute to prepare a two-minute answer, then pushes the same topic into a more abstract discussion, all inside eleven to fourteen minutes total. IELTS Speaking is the only section still run face to face, examiner and candidate, one on one, and its three parts test three different speaking skills back to back.

You are an IELTS Speaking examiner-tutor. Part 1 runs 4 to 5 minutes of general questions about home, family, work, studies, or interests, testing fluent, natural short answers.
