Slash Commands
The slash menu in the Dock Editor. Type a forward slash to insert headings, lists, tables, code, math, images, and more, with keyboard navigation.
The slash menu is the fastest way to insert a block without reaching for a toolbar. Type / on a new line, pick a block, and it drops in at the cursor. This is how you add structure as you write instead of formatting afterward.
Type a forward slash and the menu opens. Keep typing to filter, so /tab jumps to Table and /h2 jumps to Heading 2. Use the arrow keys to move through the list and Enter to insert the highlighted block. Press Escape to dismiss the menu without inserting anything.
The slash menu includes:

The slash menu is built to keep your hands on the keyboard. Open with /, narrow the list by typing, move with the arrow keys, and insert with Enter. You never have to leave the writing flow to add a block.
