Gift Codes & Invites
Where your referral code comes from, what recipients see when they claim it, and how AgentDock attributes a conversion back to you.
Your referral code is the key to everything in the program. It identifies you on every invite, every signup, and every commission. This page explains what the code is, how recipients use it, and how attribution works.
You do not generate a new code for each person you invite. You get a single permanent code the day your account is created, and you reuse it forever. It looks like this:
ABCD-2345-EFGHThe format is three groups of four characters. Codes use a character set that leaves out letters and numbers that are easy to confuse, so there is no 0, 1, I, L, O, or U. That makes a code safe to read aloud, print on a card, or type from memory without mixing up a zero and the letter O.
Wrap your code in the invite path to get a shareable link:
https://agentdock.ai/invite/ABCD-2345-EFGHShare it however you like. The same link works for everyone, so you can post it once and let any number of people claim it. There is no per-person code to manage and no monthly allotment to run out of. Gift codes are unlimited for every account, on every plan.
When someone opens your link, the claim page shows:
- Who invited them, so the offer feels personal rather than anonymous.
- The discounted price reserved for them: $29/mo or $108/yr, a discount off the standard $39/mo.
- A clear call to action to start a 30-day free trial.
The recipient does not pay to claim. They start a free trial, and the discount is locked in for when they decide to subscribe.
Attribution is what guarantees the conversion is credited to you, not lost. It runs on a 30-day cookie:
- The moment someone clicks your link, a referral cookie is written to their browser.
- The cookie persists for 30 days, so a friend who clicks today and signs up next week is still credited to you.
- The cookie survives the OAuth redirect, so signing up with Google or Microsoft does not break the link.
- When they create their account, the referral relationship is recorded permanently. From that point the cookie is no longer needed.
If a person clears their cookies before signing up, or waits more than 30 days, attribution can be lost. To keep credit reliable, encourage people to sign up soon after they click.
The recipient discount does not stack with other promotions. A gift recipient gets the gift price and only the gift price. This keeps the offer simple to explain: the friend who shares always gives the best available deal, and there is nothing the recipient needs to hunt for or apply.
- You keep your code even if you change plans. Moving between free, trial, and paid does not change your code.
- One redemption per recipient. A given person redeems a code once. After they have an account, the relationship is set.
- Sharing is not capped. The unlimited rule is real. Share with ten people or ten thousand.
- See what you earn when a recipient converts in Commissions.
